As 2024 draws to a close, it’s the perfect time to reflect on all the incredible achievements we’ve shared this year. Thanks to your belief and generosity, over 1,000 children with disabilities now attend adapted Level Water swimming lessons each week. These children aren’t just gaining life-saving skills; they’re building confidence, strength, flexibility, and a lifelong love for the water. It’s a gift that transforms lives far beyond the pool. Whether you’ve taught a lesson, taken on a swim challenge, cheered from the sidelines, or supported us behind the scenes, you’ve been a vital part of every milestone and every smile we’ve celebrated this year. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of splashes. We can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together in 2025! With heartfelt thanks and festive cheer, The Level Water Team

This year, we're delighted to have been awarded a £40k grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation that will help transition 240 children with disabilities off our swimming lesson waiting list into dedicated 1-to-1 swimming lessons. Children with disabilities face significantly higher isolation and social exclusion, fewer accessible activities, and a wider range of other barriers to accessing swimming. As a result of this funding, we will be able to provide teachers with specialist training across Birmingham, Gosport, London and Rotherham in order for these children to start gaining fair access to affordable swimming lessons and receive a truly individualised learn to swim journey. We're incredibly grateful for the support from the Garfield Weston Foundation. Thank you very much - you're making an incredible difference to children with disabilities across the UK. #swimming #disabilityswimming #disabilityawareness #levelwater #GarfieldWeston

“I would like to say thank you so much for giving my children the chance to learn such a key life skill." Noah and Nellie are siblings that have both started Level Water supported swimming lessons and here is a summary (from their Mum) of the teaching support provided to them each week. "Cheryl has been absolutely fantastic with Noah and Nellie. They thoroughly enjoyed their lessons with her. She is very patient and understanding with them. She has made such a huge difference to their experience with swimming. It's honestly such a great initiative to be involved in! I would love to see more places offer inclusive activities for children of all abilities.” Every child should get an equal opportunity to learn how to swim. Thank you, Cheryl and to all the fabulous Level Water tutors and teachers across England and Wales. Want to see Level Water swimming lessons at your local pool? Visit https://lnkd.in/eu6CN6sj

At our recent annual Christmas lunch, we raised more than £1,800 for charities Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People and Level Water! 💙🎄 Our team members voted to donate all the money that was raised from tickets sold for our Swim England Christmas raffle to those two fantastic charities 👏 Rainbows Hospice provide care and support for babies, children and young people with serious and terminal conditions, and their families, across the East Midlands. Level Water provide 1-1 swimming lessons for children with disabilities across the UK.
