This milestone underscores our commitment to protecting lives, property, and operational continuity ✈️ Led by our dedicated fire safety team, this project is a testament to the hard work and expertise of our colleagues. By implementing our Fire Safety Management System against the expectations of BS9997, we can be assured that we are working to a structured approach that is deemed best practice in the UK.

We are pleased to be attending the International Airport Review Summit 2024 in Amsterdam. During day one of the Summit, industry representatives from across the globe came together to discuss subjects including how the sector can best create a pipeline of future talent, and how to make use of new technologies and automation in an airport environment. Manchester Airport Managing Director, Chris Woodroofe, chaired the afternoon session of today’s agenda, which in part focused on aviation decarbonisation and the opportunities surrounding Sustainable Aviation Fuel. Chris later spoke with panel members about how airports are working to create a seamless customer experience, and shared insights into measures in place at Manchester Airport to deliver a positive experience for passengers. #InternationalAirportSummit #IAS24

5.9m passengers travelled through MAG (Airports Group) in October, up 5% year-on-year, taking the rolling 12-month passenger total close to 64m ✈️ London Stansted Airport recorded its busiest day on record, with 107,000 passengers travelling through on 27 October. Continuing their success of reaching the milestone of serving 30m passengers within a 12-month period last month, Manchester Airport welcomed 2.8m passengers in October. Today, we publish our annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report for 2023/24, detailing the progress we have made in delivering our CSR Strategy: “Working together for a brighter future.” In the report, we talk about the publication of our industry leading research about Sustainable Aviation Fuel with transport sustainability experts ICF, how more than 5,500 young people visited our on-site Aerozones to learn more about careers in aviation, and that through our Community Funds more than £790,000 was donated to fantastic causes in our local communities. Yesterday, we welcomed Secretary of State for Transport Louise Haigh MP to Manchester Airport, who together with Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson has announced the creation of a new Accessibility Task and Finish Group, focused on improving the experience for airport passengers travelling with accessibility needs. The new group will bring together consumer advocates and industry representatives – including representatives from all three of our airports – Manchester Airport, London Stansted Airport and East Midlands Airport – alongside airlines, consumer groups and other airports. MAG (Airports Group) is committed to ensuring that every passenger can travel safely and comfortably through our airports, regardless of their needs.
