Together, we are developing ProVision-RA, long-range prognostic and predictive combination biomarker system. 🎯 What does this mean? ProVision-RA aims to support a precision medicine (PM) approach, enabling more tailored and effective healthcare for patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). 🌟 Recognising Bone and Joint Week 2024 | 12-20 October 🌟 This Bone and Joint Week, Avenna want to highlight the significant impact of musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. We're dedicated to raising awareness about the physical, emotional, and economic challenges these conditions pose, particularly how they affect mental health and social care systems.   🚀 Introducing ProVision-RA 🚀 We are thrilled to share our success in securing a consortium award with Ludger Limited, Personalised (Stratified) Medicine at Ulster University and MendezWeiss & Co. supported by an Innovate UK grant, to develop ProVision-RA. This project aims to greatly enhance rheumatoid arthritis (RA) diagnostics, and prognosis potentially benefiting over 400,000 people in the UK, including 13,500 in Northern Ireland. ProVision-RA combines different omics and glycomics biomarkers with key indicators to enhance the accuracy of RA diagnostics.   🌐 The Significance of This Week 🌐 Bone and Joint Week is an opportunity to address MSK conditions in their entirety, recognising their potential to drastically alter lives through physical limitations, mental health challenges, and reduced social and work engagement. This initiative, taking place in Northern Ireland in partnership with Ulster University, Ludger Limited, and Avenna Ltd, is a feasibility study aimed at developing an innovative, early-warning precision medicine biomarker system to support personalised and proactive treatment for patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
