🌍 The Decarbonising the Midlands Aerospace Cluster project strategic plan to aid reduction of UK industrial emissions by 90% by 2050 features practical, immediate advice for reducing energy consumption and highlights how the continued transition to green energy needs action on electricity prices and confidence in power grid resiliance and storage capability. Last Thursday, just over a year since DMAC's launch on a similarly bright and frosty morning, we had a highly productive day near MIDLANDS AEROSPACE ALLIANCE headquarters in Coventry. Did you know that we’re offering bursaries for early careers professionals - such as apprentices or graduates - to attend the 2025 MAA Conference? When anyone in your company books a paid place at the conference, you can apply for one of the limited number of bursaries that could enable an early careers professional in your workplace to receive a free place at the event. Bertie Bertolaso, who volunteers for the RAF Air Cadets National Air & Space Camp, received a bursary to attend the conference last year, while he was completing his degree apprenticeship. “I had a great day at the conference, meeting with new and exciting partners for the National Air and Space Camp,” said Bertie. “It was eye opening to hear recent insights from the aerospace industry.
