A pinch me moment 🙊… Last week I delivered our first batch of new prototypes to Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust! Alder Hey is one of the largest UK children’s hospitals and I am incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to work with the wonderful team there. We have been working with the children’s department for around a year now and I cannot wait to hear the feedback from this next round of testing (which is hopefully our final round!) 🤞 We have 30 new prototypes going out in total over the next couple of months - so it is going to be a very busy period! Thank you to the team at Alder Hey and to everyone who has supported us along our journey so far - I am beyond grateful. #Physiotherapy #MotiMe #SupportChildren #AlderHey Alder Hey Children's Charity Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust
Moti Me
Alternative Medicine
Supporting parents and their disabled child, by making physio at home more accessible and fun, with additional guidance.
About us
At Moti Me and we are working with healthcare professionals to design a product that enables all children to achieve their developmental goals through the practice of movements and exercises. Physiotherapy and exercise practice: The product offers additional guidance and support for disabled children and their parents, so that parents feel comfortable practicing exercises with their child at home. Moti Me makes physiotherapy fun for the child to ensure that they can associate physio practice with playtime instead of a chore. As a result, children can continue their practice outside of professional sessions, through a fun activity that incorporates physiotherapy exercises. Child development at school: Moti Me is working with a range of special needs schools across the country to ensure that the product can be utilised in these environments. During school hours, many children with additional needs will require 1 on 1 time with a healthcare professional to practice physiotherapy and movement. Moti Me is easily set-up and packed-away making it suitable for a school environment or for healthcare professionals who are on the move. Conductive education: Our product is fun and exciting! A range of activities or movements can be incorporated into the product which is one of the biggest benefits of Moti Me. Day-to-day movements or exercises can be practiced using the physiotherapy tool and engagement with the child is maintained due to the fun nature of the product. We believe Moti Me will help with physiotherapy and exercise for children by providing them with equal opportunities to encourage them to progress and achieve their developmental milestones.

Then on Friday we headed to London for the SoHPS annual conference to connect with specialist play therapists and healthcare professionals. This was such an inspiring day with some brilliant seminars by Sophie's Legacy, Chloe Dixon and Zoe Keates. Huge thank you to everyone involved in organising the two events and also to all those who came over to say hello! #SEND #playtherapy #playtherapists #physiotherapy
