What a way to kick off B Corp month here in Scotland! Yesterday, we had the privilege of being part of B-Corp and Beyond, an inspiring gathering of more than 150 purpose-led business leaders, hosted by B Local Scotland. Co-chaired by our very own Nathalie Agnew FCIPR and Hannah Blackford alongside Mehalah Beckett, the event was a true testament to the power of businesses driving meaningful change. From the moving keynote by Dr John Blakey to thought-provoking panel discussions and workshops featuring Amy Clarke (Tribe Impact Capital LLP), Alan Mahon (Brewgooder), and Chris Turner (B Lab UK), the day was packed with insight, collaboration, and action. Attendees immersed themselves in a diverse range of workshops - from Tech for Good, covering insights on the use of AI, to a whisky tasting with Bruichladdich Distillery Company and even a ghost tour with Mercat Tours. The event was followed by a Parliamentary Reception, reinforcing the collective ambition to drive forward a more sustainable, impactful future. If there was one word that captured the essence of the day, it was hope -hope for better business, a better planet, and a better future. Thank you to everyone who joined us for being part of such a powerful movement. Let’s keep the momentum going! #BCorpAndBeyond #PurposeLedBusiness #Bcorpmonth #BLocalScotland Scotland B Local
