We’re celebrating our 4 year anniversary supporting Amey with a range of multi-faceted services across Area 10. 🎉   Area 10 covers the high-speed network in the North West of England including Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire and South Lancashire.    We’ve come a long way since starting on the contract in November 2020…   Commencing the contract in the midst of Covid, we supported NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) individuals into work by providing full-time employment and industry training.   Fast forward to the present day, our dedicated workforce has grown by 400% with us now delivering a wide range of cyclical and additional maintenance duties including high-speed traffic management, verge cutting, tree maintenance, overburden maintenance, gantry signs, weed control and VRS repairs. 🤝   Key drivers for success have been innovation, collaboration and safety - allowing us to jointly identify better ways of working on the network. 🙌 Our ‘One Closure, Several Tasks’ approach to maintaining the UK’s busiest network is helping to drive efficiencies and exceed the network’s maintenance needs. 👏   It’s a partnership we’re proud of! #Collaboration #Partnership #Vegetation #MotorwayNetwork #StrategicNetwork

A fantastic few days at the ADEPT Autumn Conference - our last event of the season! 🙌 Yesterday, our Director of Marketing and Growth, Josh Sweeney, was involved in a panel discussion as part of the Build a Future Fit Workforce / Skills Revolution Workshop. The workshop, sponsored by Costain Group PLC, focused on how the industry can ensure all children get an equal start in life, no matter what their background. The panel discussion gave us the opportunity to highlight what initiatives we get involved in to inspire our younger generation, including the work we do with Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone. We took the chance to showcase a recent tea towel design one of their members created based on who Multevo are. 🧡 Josh discussed the challenges around engaging a younger audience and also referenced the recent work of the Highways Sector Council’s #Highwaysoflife campaign aiming to highlight the exciting and varied opportunities available in the sector. We recently refurbished two Unimogs to get them back into action on behalf of a specialist arboriculture contractor. The two specialist Utility MEWP units had been in a long-term storage facility for over three years and were in need of some TLC. 🔧 Works were delivered in-house by our specialist technicians and included custom build of parts, body fabrications, full service, and MOT checks. 🙌 As a Mercedes-Benz Authorised Unimog Aftersales Partner, we take pride in the service we deliver. We're very proud to have supported the creation of the 'Way of Life' campaign in conjunction with the Highways Sector Council (HSC). The campaign, which was launched last week at Highways UK, was designed by early and mid-career professionals and challenges preconceived notions about working in the sector. It celebrates the crucial part highways play in helping us live connected lives. Here at Multevo we're keen on empowering future generations and showcasing the wide range of career opportunities available within our sector, which makes it an honour to be a part of this. As part of the campaign, the HSC has created an engaging ‘Ways of Life’ video, highlighting how highways are at the heart of every journey of our lives and how a career in the sector can contribute to a more sustainable society.
