Supporting Local, Supporting Sustainability 🌍 Situated within the historic Torry Battery in Aberdeen, the Greyhope Bay Cafe is a unique off-grid community hub with breathtaking coastal views. Made from repurposed shipping containers, the cafe runs entirely on solar power and harvested rainwater, embracing a truly sustainable approach. NorDan UK was proud to support this visionary project by donating all glazing and doors when it first opened. Now, after a short closure, the cafe officially reopens tomorrow, March 1st, 2025, and we were lucky to get a sneak peek and meet the new manager, Andy Hastie. From all of us at NorDan UK, best of luck for the future! Great to see projects that support the community! Fortis House is a development of 23 self-contained homes, exclusively for individuals and families facing homelessness in of Kent, developed by Ashford Borough Council with Homes England. Built on a brownfield site, its innovative ZED PODS Limited modular design and carefully considered layout helps to meet resident needs, and features NorDan windows.  #TeamWork #MMC #ZeroCarbonSocialHousing #NorDan

The Aylesbury Estate regeneration project in London is a partnership between Notting Hill Genesis and Southwark Council to deliver a masterplan for 3,500 new homes, 50% of which will be affordable; 75% of the affordable homes will be social rented homes and 25% will be shared ownership or shared equity. We’ve achieved a 13% increase in turnover compared to 2023 - a fantastic result that puts us on track to exceed our £100m turnover vision for 2025. During the past year, I’ve had the support of our Non Executive Chairman, Alex Brown, who has played a crucial role in helping me transition into my new role. I am grateful for his guidance and expertise during this time. As Alex transitions into a new career phase, I’d like to announce that he will be stepping down as Non Executive Chairman to take up a strategic role as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Consultant.
