𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 "𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫"! Did you know there are seven types of rest? Not just burying your head under a deep duvet and shutting the world out. According to Dr Saundra Dalton-Smith, necessary forms of rest for optimum health include physical, mental, emotional, social, sensory, spiritual...and one of my favourites: 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭. For me, this means being in flow, like recording and designing videos for meditations. It’s restorative, it’s joyful, and (bonus!) it helps me create something soothing for others. 💚 You’re welcome. 😉 Now, let me ask you: When was the last time you truly rested? If your answer involves a big sigh or an eye-roll...I get it. Rest can feel impossible when life is full of deadlines, meetings, and demands. But here’s the truth: Rest isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity. And sometimes, you need to schedule it, like you would any other session, 𝐬𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞-𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧.
