Technology, Information and Media

OTT Question Time is our OTT industry debate show. Come join our next conference in London in January 2025!

About us

Now into its fifth year, OTT Question Time, hosted by Kauser Kanji of VOD Professional, is an online debate show which focuses on how broadcasters and streamers run their OTT services from multiple perspectives - commercial, product, strategy and technology. In Season 5 (which started in Autumn 2024) so far, we've covered the value of content with Channel 4, done an Olympics debrief with Warner Bros Discovery and discussed the relationships we, as viewers, have with OTT products together with the National Theatre and Hearst Networks EMEA. Previous episodes have looked at, among other things, how Netflix spends its technology budget, the economics of FAST, SVOD pricing strategies, aggregators vs. D2Cs and various specials analysing the OTT markets in France, India and Sweden. ** OTT Question Time Live is our in-person conference which we host each January at London's iconic British Museum in January. Speakers at our 2024 event included A+E Networks, Amazon Freevee, Axinom, the BBC, BBC Studios, Bedrock, BritBox International, Candyspace, ContentWise, DR (Denmark), EDGE Video, Evergent, ITV, Google, Hasbro Entertainment, Meta, NOW, NRK (Norway), Samsung TV Plus, RTL AdAlliance, Sony Pictures India, SVT (Sweden), Thinkbox, Universal Pictures, Vimond, Warner Bros Discovery, Whip Media, Xumo, Xperi, YouTube and ZDF Studios.
