The brilliant Jack from Bardwell School went to BBC Radio Oxford with Hayley Laughlin last week. He had an interview with Adam Ball which made me laugh and cry! You will know if you have ever met Jack as he has such an infectiously positive personality and is bubbling with charisma. I was overjoyed to hear his voice on the radio and unsurprisingly he has made quite an impact with his appearance. 🕵 Carterton Community College are looking for employers to give their Year 7 students the opportunity to play 'Careers Detective'! This is an engaging and fun way for students to discover jobs and career pathways they didn't know existed. 🔎 The students will ask questions to find out what each visitor does and at the end of the 10 minutes, see if they can guess correctly. Students will need to be clever with their questions and think how to get the most useful information to make a good guess and can only ask closed questions with yes or no as the only answer options. The winning tutor group will get a prize at the end! Every 10 minutes, they will get to question another employer and find out about various jobs, aiming to build up a picture of as many different jobs as possible and add to their database of what is out there and what they are interested in. 📢 New insights into young people's career-readiness from our largest-ever Future Skills Questionnaire (FSQ)!
