We're continuing our long-standing Christmas tradition of supporting local charities, and this year we're highlighting the work of Move Mates York. Move Mates is a walking buddy project by Move the Masses that pairs volunteers with people who struggle to leave their homes for a variety of reasons. Through this project, they can get outdoors to enjoy regular walks. Libby Crofts, York Project Manager for Move Mates (pictured below left with Monica Green), said: “We currently have a waiting list for people wanting to be part of the York Move Mates programme. Partners PR's donation will help us fund training for new volunteers, enabling more buddies to be paired, so that more people can experience the life-changing benefits of regular walks and companionship.” Discover more here: https://lnkd.in/e9VRi6qy #WalkingWellInTheCommunity

This week, we’re celebrating director Karen Tinkler’s 25th anniversary at Partners 🙌 Since joining as a young whippersnapper back in 1999, Karen’s time at the agency has seen her work with clients ranging from food coating manufacturers to Vikings; divorce lawyers to window hardware firms. She has chaired a global PR agency network and held various voluntary board roles. The last 25 years have also seen Karen’s role evolve from account executive to business owner, buying the agency as part of an MBO team in 2006 with Monica Green. Congratulations, Karen! It's been brilliant working with the team at Slipstream Engineering Design Ltd in recent months to help them prepare for and maximise the launch of a brand new radar product. They've stretched our minds with the fantastic work they are doing in the world of radar technology. In turn, through our Pathfinder service, we've helped to shape the messaging around the new ASTRO product to support its launch at Europe's largest RF and microwave trade show, and secure media exposure in key industry titles.
