This time last week we were welcoming professionals with a passion for equity, diversity and inclusion to the Inclusion Forum North East held in Durham. Titled 'New Year, New Start', Lucy and Karen facilitated this free session to reflect on 2024 and look forward to the year ahead in these challenging times exploring: 🌍 geopolitical instability and how these worldwide issues and incidents impact the workplace 💷 economic downturn and the pressure to deliver the same results with less resource ⚖️ legislative changes in the UK and employer preparedness for reforms already made and with more to come Thank you to everyone who came along - we had some great feedback... Thank you to our friends at Northern Housing Consortium for sharing the details of our upcoming online Housing Masterclass taking place from 12 - 1.30pm on September 18th. This will be the first in a series of events presented by Lucy Malarkey (She/Her) and Karen Faulkner (she/her), who both share a passion for equity, diversity and inclusion and improving outcomes in the social housing sector. For organisations seeking to achieve the highest customer regulatory rating, teams on the front line must be equipped with the skills and confidence to recognise diverse needs and deliver equitable outcomes.
