Registration is live for Progressive Greetings Live which will showcase thousands of incredible greeting card designs, exciting ranges and exclusive offers, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 3-4 June, at Islington’s Business Design Centre in the heart of London. There’s no time to waste if you’re a publisher who hasn’t entered The Henries Awards 2024 yet. The deadline has been extended by a couple of days, meaning you now have until Tuesday, June 18, at 1pm to enter. But why not go straight to the website now, do not pass go, do not collect £200 – just get on there to be in with a chance of winning one of the Oscars of the greeting card world! Open to all publishers and UK distributors, large, small, well-established or completely brand new, it’s about card ranges launched in the preceding year, since 15 June, 2023, or new designs to an existing range – and it’s completely free to enter to there’s nothing stopping you. There have some glitches with The Henries website this year – especially with some of the web browsers, particularly Safari, but Chrome works well. Two days of fun, laughter, catching up with greeting card industry pals and, of course, doing business are over for another year, with positive vibes coming from the many who attended and exhibited at PG Live 2024 last week. With a record 220 exhibitors and an incredible range of buyers, retailers, and distributors through the doors – including Barkers, Blue Diamond Garden Centres, British Museum, Cardfactory, Cards Galore, Cardzone, Clintons, Elphicks, Fenwick, Fortnum & Mason, Funky Pigeon. Harrods, House of Cards, Huttons, Jarrolds, John Lewis, Kew, Lark, Longacres, Oliver Bonas, Marks & Spencer, Moonpig, Morleys, Morrisons, National Trust, Notcutts, Paper Tiger, Postmark, RHS, Sainsbury’s, Scribbler, The Stock Shop, Temptations, Tesco, Thortful, TJX, TK Maxx, Utility, Waterstones and WHSmith – the 16th edition of the UK’s only specialist trade show for greeting cards proved to be one of the best yet.
