We were very proud to attend the ISPA UK awards yesterday evening at the stunning Raffles London at The OWO. Quickline was shortlisted for five awards with the competition strong in every category. We were delighted to be recognised for our work delivering fast and reliable broadband to rural communities and seeing our name on the list of finalists for Best Rural ISP and Best Rural Infrastructure shows just how much progress we have made as a business in a very short time. Furthermore, our place on the shortlists for Best Community Engagement and Digital Inclusion underlines our commitment to social value and making a real difference to the people and places we serve. On the night we walked away with the award for Best Communication Campaign in which we cast a spotlight on local communities and local Yorkshire sporting heroes. Many thanks to Networks Centre for being magnificent hosts and congratulations to all the winners and finalists. And a special thank you to the teams we worked with to help create and deliver the award winning campaign - Theodore SOWDEN & SOWDEN Powerhouse The Brownlee Foundation #awards #winners #communications #broadband #rural #ispa #yorkshire #lincolnshire

“We’re proud to be delivering gigabit capable broadband to rural communities in West Yorkshire as part of the government’s Project Gigabit programme. Our goal is to make an impact quickly, connect these areas as soon as possible and make a meaningful impact to those living and working there." Residents and businesses in villages such as Streethouse and New Sharlston, near Wakefield, as well as Emley and Upper Cumberworth, near Huddersfield, now enjoy access to gigabit-capable broadband. https://brnw.ch/21wOOfJ

Quickline colleagues litter picked on the North Yorkshire coastline earlier this month removing a massive amount of waste from the beach. As part of our commitment to enhance the environments where we are also delivering fast and reliable broadband, the team of eight volunteers took to the sands and bagged an incredible 16 sacks of rubbish from North Bay in the resort. Working in collaboration with North Yorkshire Council, Quickline colleagues swapped the office for the beach and gathered debris and litter from the shoreline. Among the waste removed was an abundance of nails and metal as well as wrappers, tissues and other unwanted items left behind or washed up. Julie Holmes, our Social Value Manager, said: “At Quickline we are absolutely committed to making a difference in the communities across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. We are not just delivering broadband, we are helping people and places to thrive and one of the ways we are doing that is through a commitment to enhance the environments where we’re working.” Well done and thank you to everyone involved in the event.
