Passing our Compliance Assessment is a requirement of REC membership. It's what sets our members apart as doing things the right way and provides a clear benchmark for quality in recruitment. Last year, the vast majority of REC members completed their REC Compliance Assessment, engaging with the REC’s compliance team to ensure their industry knowledge is up to date and demonstrating that they support efforts to raise standards in the industry. We expelled 40 members who didn’t engage with the process and failed to complete the Assessment. Our current assessment cycle is already in full swing, with a significant number of our members already successfully completing the assessment well in advance of the 2025 deadline - this is testament to the dedication of our members to uphold the highest level of professional standards.
