About us
Rendesco is the UK’s leading clean energy tech developer and operator, focusing on the electrification of heat using heat pumps and heat networks to decarbonise Britain’s buildings. We design, install, and manage clean heat solutions which transfer heat from below the surface of the Earth to provide homes and buildings with sustainable heat and hot water. We currently own and manage over 70 ground source networks and provide heat to more than 3,000 homes in the UK. Since launching in 2012, we have developed a unique and highly efficient solution for decarbonising homes and buildings. Each property we serve saves 18 tonnes of Co2 compared to a gas boiler and three tonnes of Co2 compared to an air source heat pump. We have curated a team of 30 highly-technical experts, merging experience from the investment, property, construction and renewable energy industries to create a unique business model and deliver a solution to the UK’s clean heat challenge. Heat networks need technical know-how and we have the most experience - and the best reputation - in the UK. To find out more and get in touch, click the link to our website above.

Any heritage building can be future-proofed with our renewable heat networks! Deep beneath the foundations of one of the world’s oldest universities lies the low-carbon solution for Oxford's transition away from gas boilers in its iconic buildings. On a frosty autumn morning, energy transition champion Jan Rosenow joined us on-site to see the potential of ground source heating first-hand. Watch his video here:

Can an Oxford college founded in 1555 be heated with a heat pump? Today I visited Trinity College Oxford at the University of Oxford which is getting a ground source heat pump fitted by Rendesco right now. It will heat its grade II listed Jackson Building, which houses common rooms, teaching rooms and student bedrooms. One of many similar projects where heat pumps are installed in old iconic buildings.

Happy Heat Pump Day! 🌍🔥 Did you know that our geothermal heat pumps can save more than 25 tonnes of CO2 each when compared to a gas boiler? It’s a testament to the power of innovation in creating cleaner, more efficient heating solutions for a sustainable future, which are cost competitive today. 🌱 Ahead of this special day, we had the opportunity to visit Comacchio SpA in Italy for their 2025 Open House, where we explored the latest advancements in the geothermal drilling technology which enables us to deliver these carbon savings. Live demonstrations of cutting-edge rigs showed how they’re redefining what’s possible in urban geothermal installations. 🚧 A huge thank you to our hosts, and to all our colleagues around the world who are pushing the boundaries of geothermal energy. #geothermalenergy #innovation #renewableenergy #sustainability #engineering #heatpumps #drilling

As we celebrate one month since Rendesco’s acquisition of ADP Group Ltd's geothermal drilling division, we're excited to share a progress update from our ongoing project at Trinity College Oxford, University of Oxford. 🎉 Working amongst the historic buildings and delicate gardens of the college grounds, one of our GEO 909GTs is drilling 22 boreholes to 166m each. The team have done an exceptional job of maintaining a clean and tidy site, handling the high-profile job with care and precision. It was a great opportunity to meet our entire drilling team, who recently joined us from ADP, and a testament to the expertise, dedication, and passion they bring to drive our mission forward. 🌍🌱 By combining ADP’s industry-leading drilling operations with Rendesco’s design and project management expertise, we’re able to deliver more efficient, cost-effective renewable heat solutions across the UK. Check out the photos to see our team in action! 📸 #Rendesco #GeothermalEnergy #Sustainability #RenewableEnergy #GreenHeat #Innovation #TrinityCollegeOxford
