We want to change the way young people think about money and help grow their money confidence. With our own research showing us that two-thirds of young people say a lack of financial confidence would prevent them from achieving some of their life goals – we’re acting now to show the next generation we’re here to help. Our latest campaign, going live across our NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and Ulster Bank brands, focuses on NatWest Rooster Money and NatWest Thrive – which help young people build self-belief and a positive money mindset. The campaign reframes the perceived effort of taking financial action from being big and potentially daunting to something small and achievable, and it aims to inspire viewers to grow their money confidence. From cinemas to social media, you’ll see it popping up across digital and offline channels soon. Check it out below and visit our youth hub for more examples of how we help young people to build better money habits: https://lnkd.in/epyheheF

  • We recently had the fantastic opportunity to take part in Visa’s Junior Inventors’ Day where children were tasked with designing an invention to enhance the payment experience for fans at future Olympic and Paralympic Games. The young innovators had some truly ground-breaking ideas, giving the panel of judges – including our very own CTO Jon Smart – an impossible task to pick just one winning concept! 10-year-old Bea was appointed Visa’s first Junior Chief Innovation Officer for her inclusive new design concept that involved a wearable device, offering supportive hearing, sign language and an audible commentator – as well as a gamified way to pay. Hear more about Bea’s winning idea and her first day at ‘work’ where she met our CEO Will Carmichael.

Cycling families cycle forever! It's time for our Family of the Year 🏆 This award celebrates a super cycling family. Presented by the brilliant Nigel Clarke 📺 The winner is... The Tranter Family! As a family, the Tranters love sharing their passion for cycling with others through volunteering, competing, organising events and coaching. The children compete both on and off-road in regional cycling leagues, Dad enjoys long distance rides and Mum is representing Great Britain in triathlon this year in her age group - but the best cycling fun comes from adventures as a family, particularly when there is an ice cream stop involved! Doing Bikeability in school (and balanceability) has really helped the children develop the skills necessary to join Mum and Dad on two-wheeled travels and they are looking forward to exploring more locations as they get older. You have won NatWest Rooster Money cards & £500 cash! #CelebrationOfBikeability

It was a golden opportunity to build strong connections and enjoy a few laughs. We can’t wait for next year! #AllHands #TeamGB #colleagues #connections #sportsday
