To support our purpose “powering progress for future generations", and in line with the bold commitment of continuous education, we have launched our protected development policy. Our aim is to empower our associates to Adapt, Dare and Learn, enhance engagement, support career growth and drive overall organisational success. This policy gives every associate 1 hour of protected learning time each week to explore topics, sharpen current skills, explore new areas of interest, or work towards the next big career goal. By investing in our people, we are investing in a stronger future—for our organisation and the broader community. #PoweredByDifference #PoweringProgressForFutureGenerations #Learning #Development #ContinuousEducation Caroline Grant MCIPD Lesley Aukett Damian Spall

We are a proud partner of Primary Engineer and last month Steven Kilpatrick attended this ceremony. "There were some truly wonderful, innovative ideas...there is a great pathway for our young generation to get into a meaningful career in Engineering. I would strongly encourage our Engineers to get involved with the Primary Engineer initiatives and give some of your time to help inspire the next generation to choose a career in Engineering". This partnership supports our Communities and Continuous Education bold commitments, giving us the opportunity to support the local community and pass on skills and knowledge to inspire the next generation of Engineers! 🚀👩🏫 #Routeco #Engineering #Engineer #Learning #Ideas #TheNextGeneration #PoweredByDifference Lesley Aukett Darren Spearing Damian Spall
What a night! ✨ Innovators of all ages gathered at the prestigious Primary Engineer MacRobert Medal Award Ceremony in Glasgow yesterday, celebrating the collaborative achievements of school pupils, university students, and engineers. We were so delighted to be able to honour everyone who has been involved in bringing these prototypes to life – the pupils, parents & carers, engineers, teachers, judges, and our dedicated supporters. We extend our deepest gratitude to The MacRobert Trust and The Weir Group PLC for their essential support and spirit of innovation, The University of Strathclyde School of Engineering for providing us with the stunning Barony Hall, and of course a massive thank to Tunnocks for providing us with the Caramel Wafers! Earlier this month, we hosted an MK SNAP (Milton Keynes Special Needs Advancement Project) tabletop sale at our Head Office. MK Snap learners brought a selection of handmade Christmas goodies and tasty homemade cakes for our associates to peruse and purchase. MK Snap is always looking for volunteers, if you are interested, then please reach out to them. The sale raised a fantastic £222.50 for the charity.
