Last night's Scottish Apprenticeship Awards brought together apprentices, businesses and learning providers from across Scotland to celebrate the amazing achievements of all finalists. More solar power to Inverness! 🌞 We’ve completed a solar project at Scottish Water's Longman Drive pumping station - 1,500 panels now generating 0.74GWh of green energy every year! ☀️ Almost 25% of the site’s power now comes from solar ✈️ 101 tonnes of CO₂ saved annually – equal to 450 flights from Inverness to London! ⚡ Extra renewable energy will be fed back into the national grid Huge thanks to our teams, Absolute Solar and Wind Ltd, and Blackburn Starling & Company Limited for for making this project a success!
