🎄🐾 Making Christmas Brighter for Bailey and Skye! 🐾🎅 This holiday season is a truly magical one for Bailey and Skye as they settle into their forever homes for their first-ever Christmas. These incredible rescue dogs were part of the Cairnryan rescue earlier this year, they have found their perfect families and are already spreading festive cheer. ✨ Bailey can’t wait for a frosty Christmas Day walk in the woods—his absolute favourite place! He’s become best buddies with his big sister Ailsa, and the two love chasing each other around the coffee table and through the trees. Santa is bringing them both brand-new coats for their adventures! 🐾 Skye is counting down to Christmas with her very own doggy advent calendar, lovingly opened by her family. She’s ready for her stocking stuffed with treats, a cozy jacket, and a soft toy to enjoy on Christmas morning. Over the holidays, she’ll visit her doggy cousins and join the family for long, peaceful walks. Bailey and Skye have truly completed their families, bringing so much love, joy, and cuddles. Their forever homes are filled with laughter, adventure, and holiday cheer. 🎄🐾 It's a Christmas Pupdate! 🐾🎅 This Christmas is extra special for Cookie, Murphy, and Cash as they celebrate their first festive season in their forever homes! These gorgeous puppies are 3 of the 24 rescued at Cairnryan ferry port earlier this year. ✨ Cookie is enjoying festive walks under the Christmas lights and even has his own advent calendar. He’s excited for his first Secret Santa with some of his Cockapoo friends. 🐾 Murphy has settled perfectly into family life. He’s ready for Christmas morning fun with his rescue cat siblings, Charlie and Maisie, and can’t wait for his new toys and tasty treats from Santa Paws! 🎁 Cash is gearing up for his first Christmas with matching family stockings and a pile of toys under the tree. He’s built an incredible bond with his family’s baby, proving he was the perfect addition. These stories are a heart-warming reminder of the joy rehoming can bring—not just to animals, but to families too. 💜 Read more on these pups' stories: https://bit.ly/3CtnTvM #FirstChristmas #RehomedAndLoved #ScottishSPCA #AdoptDontShop #RescueProtectLead

Scottish SPCA reposted this
Charities don’t stop just because it’s Christmas. And many of their services are more in demand than any other time of year. That’s why we’ve awarded six charities with an additional £2.2 million in funding raised by People's Postcode Lottery players. Trussell, Mind, Hospice UK, Young Lives vs Cancer, RSPCA and Scottish SPCA are already supported by players. And this December the extra support will help deliver a happier Christmas for those most in need, bringing the funding total for all six charities in 2024 to £7 million. Watch the moment the surprise news was delivered to the organisations by our ambassador Matt Johnson.
