Winning ‘Industrial and Logistics Specialist’ at the EG Awards. We pride ourselves on paving a better future for the sector and external recognition is a sign we’re on the right track. We are incredibly proud to have won EG’s ‘Industrial and Logistics Specialist’ award last night. Key contributors to the win include our completion of SEGRO Park Tottenham and our refurbishment of 2 Auriol Drive, Greenford Park – both developed to BREEAM Outstanding standards – the highest level of sustainability accreditation in the UK. At the heart of this achievement is our continued commitment to champion low carbon growth and invest in local environments. It is testament to our relentless dedication to innovation, sustainability and creating value for our customers, communities and wider stakeholders. Thank you to our incredible team and partners for making this possible!

The future of the UK’s digital economy relies heavily on industrial infrastructure and reliable access to power. As SEGRO’s Chief of Staff, Andrew Pilsworth, discusses in his article, The Balance of Power, meeting rising energy and power demands presents significant challenges. We urge the Government to prioritise support for the industrial and logistics sector to ensure sufficient power availability where and when needed, and continuing to invest in energy infrastructure. These steps are essential to help the UK to transition to net-zero and establish a leading digital-enabled economy. Read more about why a strategic focus on energy and power is crucial for economic growth:
I recently wrote an article exploring the increasing demand for power in the industrial and logistics sector. From electrifying transport fleets to addressing grid constraints, the challenges are vast but so are the opportunities. Read the full piece here 👇

Made for movement. With key milestones being hit during 2024, SEGRO Logistics Park Northampton is progressing well. Located at Junction 15 of the M1, the development is strategically located, with excellent connectivity and immediate access to the motorway. Its biggest competitive advantage is the dedicated Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI), which is due to be operational from next year, and will enable more goods to be transported by rail, reducing carbon emissions. With best-in-class infrastructure and units targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ it marks SEGRO’s first UK development to achieve net zero carbon in all its units. Additionally, the development includes 18km of footpaths, 60,000 new trees to support biodiversity and provide parkland for residents to enjoy. A truly memorable event with The Felix Project at SEGRO Park Deptford. The Felix Project's new hub at SEGRO Park Deptford, which is part of the Coronation Food Project inaugurated by His Majesty The King, serves as a strong reminder of our collective aspiration to combat food waste and hunger in our local communities. The initiative is in collaboration with other food industry and food redistribution charities and looks to transform the UK’s food supply chains by maximising the use of surplus food. This redistribution not only uplifts local communities but also promotes sustainability by addressing food waste. Together we can make a meaningful difference in the communities we operate in.
An occasion fit for a King, celebrating the official opening of The Felix Project’s new facility at SEGRO Park Deptford, which is one of the Coronation Food Project’s first two food distribution centres. I had the privilege of attending the opening of the latest food hub operated by The Felix Project, London’s largest food redistribution charity, expanding its vital work of fighting hunger and food waste in London. This space is in addition to its existing facilities with us at SEGRO Park Greenford Central and Great Cambridge Industrial Estate. The Felix Project is one of a number of food distribution networks supported by The Coronation Food Project – an initiative inspired by His Majesty King Charles III to save and circulate more food and use it for social good. The event was truly memorable, with the great honour of welcoming His Majesty The King to inaugurate the new space, marking His Majesty’s 76th birthday and celebrating the fantastic work of these amazing initiatives. Supporting organisations like The Felix Project is essential if we want to combat food poverty and reduce food waste. Providing space for this work means more meals for vulnerable Londoners, and we are truly proud to play a role in this mission.
