Driving Change and Going Electric 🌍⚡ Recently, Hannah and Sarah took part in a trial to assess our ability to become a more sustainable business by testing the reliability of today’s electric cars. At STS, we have aligned our sustainability ambitions with those of our parent company, Severn Trent Plc, aiming to reach operational Net Zero and decarbonise our fleet by 2030. Happy International Volunteer Day! So far this financial year, Severn Trent employees have dedicated an impressive 435 hours to volunteering. From planting trees to engaging in woodwork, our team is committed to giving back to our communities. Today is World Wildlife Conservation Day, an important reminder of our commitment to protecting wildlife on our customer’s sites and in the communities we serve. We engage in various conservation activities, such as maintaining reed beds that provide vital habitats for local wildlife, treating water before it’s discharged into waterways, and volunteering to plant trees and create bug hotels. Protecting wildlife is a fundamental aspect of our daily operations.
