Great to see the West Suffolk College biomass boiler system now operating at full capacity, following a collaboration between Sharman Grimwade Ltd and CPS Building Services Ltd.    Analysis of the connected loads on the existing centralised heating system at the Bury St. Edmunds campus identified spare capacity to connect three more buildings; following some re-balancing, new pipe runs, and provision of heat exchangers connecting into the existing building's gas boiler systems.   #Biomass #RenewableEnergy #NetZero #CarbonNeutral #BioEnergy #Engineering #MechancialEngineering

It’s great to see the scaffolding has been struck on the extension to the catering facilities at Wolfson College Cambridge. Not long now until completion! The necessarily windowless facade to additional cold rooms and goods lift was a good opportunity to be playful with the brickwork above a new delivery bay. We are excited to be working with Wolfson College, to provide the building services for a new, environmentally sustainable kitchen. This project is allowing us to work closely with Arriba Technologies and their new simultaneous heating and cooling air source heat pump. This is now installed on the roof ready for connection. Also lifted into position is the new supply AHU from Air Handling Systems Ltd, and specialist kitchen heat recovery coil manufactured by ENJAY We are thrilled to be working with these innovative companies and their products.
