Skills for Justice has been commissioned by Skills Development Scotland to carry out a review of the Youth Justice suite of @National Occupational Standards (NOS). It has been over ten years since the NOS were last reviewed and updated so the review will focus on bringing the standards up to current practice and incorporating current language. National Occupational Standards (NOS) describe the knowledge and skills needed to do a particular job to a nationally recognised level of competence. There are 24 NOS to be reviewed. You only need to respond to the NOS that are relevant to your area of relevant to your role and experience within the sector. We were recently commissioned to design and develop a new apprenticeship standard for domestic and sexual abuse support workers. 👇 Working with key domestic abuse and sexual violence support specialists on this development, including Women's Aid Federation of England, Rape Crisis England & Wales, and Respect UK it was important for us to consider all the support provision services and how the standard could be implemented across difference agencies.
