Last week, SDS's Russell James was delighted to be part of the New Hospital Programme Industry Round Table discussion, with The Rt. Hon. Wes Streeting MP. Representing Specialist Door Solutions Ltd and Future HealthSpaces, Russell was joined around the table by a wealth of expertise from across the industry and Government. The focus of discussion was on what each side needs to ensure the effective delivery of a once-in-a-generation opportunity: the construction of new hospitals. Speaking about the outcomes from the discussions, Russell said: "Delivering the NHP is a once in lifetime opportunity - key words from the discussion can be summed up as - Collaboration, Commitment, Speed - applicable at all stages and imperative to delivery of new hospital facilities. This month, the SDS Mo Bros and Mo Sisters 🥸completed a 60km walk challenge to shine a light on a heartbreaking statistic: every hour, 60 men lose their lives to suicide worldwide. This journey was more than just steps; it was a call to action. Additionally, the SDS team have been taking part in several activities including a moustache-ificent bake-off to support Movember, which is no longer just raising awareness of prostate cancer, it is taking on testicular cancer plus men’s mental health and suicide prevention.
