Would you set a 5:30am alarm to try something new? I did—for Padel 🎾! I’ve recently been bitten by the Padel bug. If you’re not familiar, it’s a fast-paced sport that’s a mix of tennis and squash (and yes, it’s highly addictive!). This week, I made it to a 7am session at the newly opened Padel Club in Gloucester, and it was absolutely worth the early start. There’s something about getting 90 minutes of exercise in before a busy day. It clears your head, gets you moving, and leaves you feeling ready to take on anything. Kristopher and the team have done a brilliant job with the club—fantastic courts, space to work, and I’ve heard the coffee is excellent (I’ll confirm next week!). Who else has tried Padel? Or what’s the sport that gets you out of bed at an ungodly hour? The Padel Club 🎾

More big progress at The Padel Club at TraffordCity, Manchester 📍🎾 🚜 where the shape of our site is becoming clear. Our foundations for the first 6 courts are now in place and our first 4 canopies are on site ready to build. We’ve also started the foundation work for the next 5 covered canopies. We’re building 9 covered courts and 2 outdoor courts at the UK’s biggest purpose built padel club. This is an unbelievable location and we can’t wait to get the first players on the court. What a brilliant evening at The Padel Club in Gloucester with our Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man) team. A fantastic facility and a great opportunity to get out and push some healthy competition to unwind on a week night. I can happily recommend to anyone to visit to have a go yourself.
