Supply chain leaders like Jacqueline Ireland MBA MCIPS MCMI and Forth Green Freeport leader Forth Ports Limited are setting clear expectations for what defines a strong Net Zero strategy, outlining what suppliers will need to meet in the coming years. As we approach a critical juncture, having a credible plan will become essential for maintaining business relationships. When we founded Net Zero Nation in 2021 it was to give SMEs a place to start that would result in them gaining clear business advantages and a validated Net Zero strategy, as well as the realisation that it is the right thing to do. I'm pleased that new CEO Steven Turner will be taking the Net Zero Nation mission to the next level. Take a few moments to look at the expressions on those featured who have graduated. Their genuine enthusiasm and passion has been ignited and their Net Zero Transition is well underway. Game on! Last year, we proactively began evaluating our #environmental impact with the aim of reducing our greenhouse gas emissions. To make this goal a reality we partnered with Net Zero Nation, and are proud to announce that we’ve recently been awarded with the foundation certificate for successfully completing year one of the accelerator programme! Participating in this accelerator has enabled us to: 🌍 Create our first annual carbon emissions report, detailing our carbon footprint and our reduction plan (which you can find here: https://lnkd.in/ezSpRZs4 🌟 Join a growing community of like-minded businesses, enabling us to share best practices, overcome challenges, and celebrate successes together 🎯 Develop a better understanding of how our product and service offerings can assist our customers with their own sustainability targets Special thanks to Gavin Tweedie and the entire Net Zero Nation team for delivering this accelerator, to Jacqueline Ireland MBA MCIPS MCMI and Forth Ports Limited for supporting the #Grangemouth cohorts on this journey, and to David Hawes and Net Zero International for their invaluable help with measuring our #emissions. #MeasurementAndData #NetZero #Sustainability.
