About us

Two Temple Place is a dazzling neo-Gothic mansion on Victoria Embankment, commissioned by and built for William Waldorf Astor in the 1890s. We host annual exhibitions, showcasing publicly-owned museum and art gallery collections from outside of London, as well as opening to the public for open days, family and special events. Our spectacular building is also one of London's most prestigious settings for corporate and private entertaining. We provide an unrivalled venue, combining the grandeur of a state occasion with the intimacy of a private house party. Two Temple Place is owned by the Bulldog Trust, a charity founded in 1983.
