We are incredibly proud of our talented team at UM who collaborated with Mediabrands Content Studio this year on an exceptional project.   This initiative saw over 3,000 aspiring artists submit their music to our panel, with six selected to work closely with industry professionals in curated workshops over a number of weeks. These artists then had the opportunity to perform at The Dome in Tufnell Park, a legendary live music venue we helped refurbish with the help of Willmott Dixon, bringing them back onto the promoter map. The project also gave them the incredible opportunity to take the stage at BST and APE festivals, creating meaningful connections between a brand, culture, and community.   We’re excited to share that a documentary about this inspiring journey will soon be available on Prime Video! Yesterday, Kara Osborne Gladwell took the stage at Adwanted Events’ Future of TV Advertising conference to moderate a fireside chat with Mark Marshall, Chairman of Global Advertising & Partnerships at NBCUniversal. Their conversation covered key industry insights, including the growing value of cross-platform advertising, the future of big content moments, and the importance of investing in long-tail advertisers.   In a world where brands have more advertising options than ever before – premium, brand-safe content remains a foundation of marketing plans because it drives impact. The discussion explored how AI and data are driving innovation in advertising, enabling brands to reach addressable 1:1 audiences more effectively. Mark emphasised the significant role live event programming plays in enhancing reach across the marketing funnel, highlighting the powerful synergies of linear and streaming platforms.   A huge thank you to Adwanted Events for hosting such an insightful and inspiring event!
