Careers pop-ups with Student Circus 10. Water refill stations to raise awareness of World Earth Day 11. And much more... Our residents have plenty more treats in store next month, including more brand partner events, a big summer party, and careers workshops to get them prepared to graduate.

Happy International Women's Day! This year to celebrate, we hosted a special International Women's Day Edition of our Big Talks event series. We welcomed 3 trailblazing women from different industries to Vita Student Cannon Park to inspire our student community. Anna Brightman, founder of the UK's number 1 upcycled beauty brand UpCircle Beauty shared her expertise in entrepreneurship, retail, sustainability and the circular economy. Anna was featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and is currently working on her first book, which will be published this May. Lakechia Jeanne MPH, a Vita Student York Alumni, winner (and now judge) of the Women's Leader UK Awards and Founder of the social initiative Girls In Science was an inspiration to women hoping to progress a career in STEM. Jade Brooks-Read CBP, MBPsS, MSc, LLB, former TikTok psychologist, now operating in the self-driving car space at Oxa shared her unique experiences of working in the psychology, criminal law and tech spaces, and had advice for students considering starting their own business discussing her well-being start-up Olive & Ivy. The night involved an insightful panel conversation, audience Q&A, and networking for our residents to make new connections. A big thank you to our inspiring guest speakers for taking part.
