  • VRGeoscience's flagship software, Virtual Reality Geological Studio (VRGS), is designed for contemporary geoscientists and geotechnical engineers who specialise in the analysis and visualisation of digital outcrop data and virtual outcrops. #VRGS offers an immersive and interactive environment with an extensive suite of analytics tools designed to maximise the utility of datasets across multiple scales. Find out more in the carousel below 👇

  • Quick Tip - Demonstrate scale by incorporating contours and grids on meshes within #VRGS. Accurately conveying the size and proportions of geological features is essential for geologists and researchers to understand better the outcrops they're studying. By incorporating features such as contours and grid lines, users can create more precise models that accurately depict the true scale of the terrain. This is especially important when analysing complex geological formations, where even slight variations in scale can have a significant impact on research findings and geological interpretations. #geology

  • A successful morning workshop at this year’s TSG2025, focusing on digital outcrops and VRGS led by David Hodgetts and Brian Burnham, PhD, FGS was followed by an engaging afternoon session on fracture logging in core, led by experts from the British Geological Survey. It was fantastic to see such a great group of participants, with lots of insightful questions and lively discussions throughout the day. A big thank you to the organisers for putting together such an informative and well-run event!
