This process starts long before they step on board.    Effective recruitment focuses not only on technical skills but also on the ability to collaborate across cultures. Training is crucial—crews need to understand cultural differences and learn how to communicate clearly.    Leadership is key to maintaining open communication. Senior officers must create an environment where diverse voices are respected, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and respectfully.
