This role is available as a temporary fixed term contract for nine months. The small unit publishes a range of printed materials, primarily to support operational policing, and also internal initiatives, and external campaigns and engagement. Your demanding role will involve operating all printing and finishing equipment within the unit, producing a comprehensive range of work to high standards within delivery deadlines and to full customer satisfaction. You will have a good knowledge and experience of working on full colour digital print production machinery, as well as working on print finishing equipment, in particular folding, creasing, collating and binding. You will have good basic IT skills, in order to assist with the ordering and dispatch of stock items. It’s essential that you must be physically capable of undertaking duties which involve lifting and manual handling. We are looking for someone who can be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a small, dedicated team.
