We’re investing £89 million to deliver 5,400 new homes across West Yorkshire. In a speech this week at the North Housing Consortium, Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire, announced the funding which will be split across 28 projects building on disused brownfield land. £20 million is coming to West Yorkshire as part of a nationwide initiative to help improve public health and boost economic growth. Working with West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership, an integrated care system, we will use the funding to provide support to reduce the number of people who cannot work due to ill health and give everyone a fair chance to flourish.
