    Imagine yourself in a tent, in the middle of nowhere. There’s no escape from the blistering summer heat or the biting winter cold. The walls of your tent barely shield you and your children from the elements. For Abu Ali, and millions of others, this is his reality. After 13 years of conflict and displacement, he and his family face relentless uncertainty, inadequate shelter, food insecurity and more. Thanks to funding from the World Food Programme, World Vision Syria Response launched a vital programme in Syria, providing vulnerable families like Abu Ali’s with food baskets and supplements.     Every week, thousands of Sudanese women flee to neighboring countries, seeking safety from gender-based violence that has become a weapon of conflict. *Fatima and *Samira are breaking the silence and sharing their heartbreaking stories. For these two women, and countless others, leaving everything behind is a desperate bid to escape a cycle of violence. We're on the ground, providing food, medicine and psychosocial support, but the path to healing and justice is a long and uncertain one. But one thing is certain: we must not ignore the violence they have experienced and continue to experience.
