Today we had our our end of year full team meeting, which gives everyone the opportunity to begin getting into the festive spirit 🎄 We had two very special visitors (elves excluded). Firstly, we had Stephanie Roberts-Bibby the Chief Executive of the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales (YJB). It was a pleasure to showcase the work done in Buckinghamshire and I hope she found the time spent with our practitioners, board and children insightful. Secondly and we had a child attend this meeting for the first time. A child who has experienced significant trauma and has, despite this, done incredible work for his community by engaging with several projects locally. I think it’s fair to say that there was not a dry eye in the house, so to that young person I cannot thank you enough for your courage and participation 👏🏻. To colleagues who supported and listened, you are amazing and keep doing what you’re doing! I am looking forward to what we can achieve together in 2025! #buckinghamshire #childfirst #yjb #youthjustice #team
