Louis Watkins, founder of skincare brand Clear For Men, is on a mission to empower men to talk about mental health while prioritising self-care and feeling confident in their own skin 🧼 Talking to Entrepreneur magazine, Louis opens up on his own mental health struggles and how they led to him developing the skincare and mental health awareness brand. "I wanted to create a brand that could spark conversations and foster a sense of community - something I desperately needed at that time. Clear For Men isn't just a skincare brand; it's about bringing people together and reminding them that they're not alone in how they feel." The company has sparked meaningful discussions both online and offline and has raised hundreds of pounds for mental health charities 💙 5% of every sale is donated to mental health charities, with an ambitious target of raising £10,000 by 2025 while challenging stigmas and creating meaningful change—one bottle of face wash at a time 🍶 24-year-old Louis credits his £12,000 Start Up Loan for kickstarting his business in 2022. Driving to the future in a 3D printed autonomous car 🚗✨ Imagine a self-driving car, brought to life layer by layer—printed, assembled, and sent across the world for testing. That’s exactly what Lunia 3D 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 just accomplished! The Cowbridge-based 3D printing business was tasked with an ambitious challenge: creating a full-scale autonomous vehicle shell, crafted from 120 individual parts and made with 99.5% recycled filament. Once completed, this cutting-edge prototype was flown to Las Vegas for testing 🎰✈️ What started as a garden shed hobby for Ken Pearce and Yousef Ahmed, two former school friends, has evolved into a leading 3D printing powerhouse. Since launching in 2020 with a £2,000 Start Up Loan, they’ve grown from a single commercial printer to 40 machines, attracting high-profile commissions—from lifesaving military tech for the Ministry of Defence to bespoke shopfront displays in Mayfair.
