🦕✨ There’s something magical about hosting an event in a museum after hours – where history and culture provide a unique backdrop, adding an extra layer of intrigue and impact. Here are three of our standout venues for private hire: 1️⃣ Natural History Museum – Imagine your event in the iconic Hintze Hall, with its soaring Romanesque arches, grand stone staircase, and magnificent capacity. This space is perfect for dinner dances, awards ceremonies, and private events 2️⃣ Foundling Museum Museum – A venue with heart and history that offers a choice of considered contemporary options for meetings, as well as a classical approach with their elegant historic rooms available for exclusive hire when they are closed to the public - perfect for drinks receptions and private dining. 3️⃣ National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh (National Galleries of Scotland) – The first purpose-built portrait gallery in the world, this architecturally impressive venue provides a unique setting that’s hard to replicate. Hosting your event here gives you after-hours access, allowing guests to explore galleries and displays in an intimate setting with no crowds. Each venue offers incredible opportunities to craft themed experiences that leave guests talking long after the event is over. Ready to make your event memorable with a night at the museum? • There's press launches and then there's press launches with PURPOSE! We love them both, but the ones with purpose, like the #buildinghappierfutures #productlaunch of the new Made by Care, designed by Izaac, really make our hearts sing! With important conversations around care experience, product design, talent and opportunity, spellbinding piano from Brad Kella, Channel 4's The Piano's Season 2 winner, beautiful hosting by Ashley John-Baptiste and a delicious brunch to top it off from Zafferano Catering Limited we were so proud to be the host venue! Huge thanks to the John Lewis & Partners team and Fresh Productions for being such a joy to work with on this magical event! #events #eventswithpurpose #foundlingmuseumevents #aspacewithheart

😃😃😃 Happy Face 😃😃😃 On my way home after delivering a full day's training to twenty charity CEOs on the topic How to Build a High Performing Organisation that Thrives. The energy, connection and peer support in the room was off the scale. We covered a lot of ground and the action planning session at the end of the day was so focussed you could have heard a pin drop. I am excited to see what comes from this exploration for everyone in the room. A lovely piece of feedback at the end: "I thought today would be all about the team but you made time for us to think about ourselves too. I wasn't expecting that. And I really appreciated it" Yes charity leaders - I'm going to focus on you too! You are key to everything. This kind of work brings me so much joy. What a privilege to support such incredible people across the sector. Thank you so much Gareth Oughton and Rachel Shirley ACEVO or inviting me in and for all your support in getting ready for the day. And thank you Martin O'Neill and Sam Bennett for Rosterfy 's sponsorship of the wonderful space at Foundling Museum. Gorgeous space and brilliant events venue. (And lovely to meet you both too!) Thank you most of all to all the participants for showing up so fully for yourselves and each other. What an amazing energy. I am buzzing.

It was a pleasure to spend time with my CEO, Tanya Stevens, at the Foundling Museum on Friday, attending a breakfast event on "Flexibility and Security for All - The Future of Good Work," jointly hosted by Timewise and the Living Wage Foundation. At a time when more people than ever are living in poverty, working multiple jobs and relying on food banks, the importance of workplace stability and flexibility is even more acute. A working structure, national living wage and minimum number of hours (#LivingHours) should be available to all and offered to everyone. Risk is a privilege. #LivingWage #LivingHours #Timewise #FlexibleWorking

🌟 I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Quantum Computing Workshop & Showcase at the Foundling Museum London, organized by QURECA. It was a deep dive into the emerging world of quantum computing, filled with insightful presentations, engaging panels, and interactive workshops. 🔹 A distinguished panel of experts, including Leigh Lapworth, Andrew Turner, Claudia Perry, and Chloé X. Ai, delved into real-world applications of quantum computing. They discussed its revolutionary impact on various sectors and the practical challenges and opportunities it presents. 🔹The most engaging part of the day was the series of collaborative roundtable workshops, focusing on a critical aspect of quantum computing. We explored the technical and logistical challenges of developing fault-tolerant quantum computers, practical use cases across different industries, the necessity of robust ecosystem support, and the crucial role of government in fostering innovation and regulating the field. 🔹The event featured several pioneering companies showcasing their quantum technologies: QURECA Empowering individuals and businesses through comprehensive quantum training and business consulting services. Universal Quantum Dedicated to building the world’s first million-qubit quantum computer, their mission is to make quantum computing accessible and practical. Riverlane Focused on building the error correction stack for useful quantum computing, ensuring robust and reliable quantum operations. Sia Partners Offering a unique blend of AI and design capabilities, Sia Partners augments traditional consulting to deliver superior value to clients. STFC Hartree Centre Part of the Science and Technology Facilities Council, the Hartree Centre accelerates the adoption of high-performance computing, data science, and AI technologies. I am profoundly thankful to organisers and all participants for making this event so enriching. The insightful discussions and innovative ideas shared here will undoubtedly advance my efforts to integrate cutting-edge technology within legal practices. A strong case can be made that this was the day I had my 'QURECA moment.' #QuantumComputing #QuantumEcosystem
