🏷️Labelled for success - https://hubs.ly/Q02Zj0Kc0 #OurImperial startup and Imperial Enterprise Lab alumnus PulpaTronics has raised £430,000 in pre-seed funding to begin pilot trials of its low-cost, recyclable RFID tags. Traditional radio-frequency identification tags used for inventory control in fashion and other retail sectors contain metal, a silicon chip and plastic, making them a nightmare to recycle. PulpaTronics has a plan to get the same functions from paper alone, helping retailers and packaging companies reduce costs, recycle more and cut down on carbon emissions. Pulpatronics won the Venture Catalyst Challenge's Consumer and Creative track in 2023, and also participated The Greenhouse accelerator from Undaunted: Tackling climate change with innovation and Cranfield University's Future Frontiers Fund prior to their latest achievement. 🎉Congratulations to Chloe So, Barna Soma Biro and everyone involved.
