Empowering Families: The Vital Role of The Parenting Network The Parenting Network, a cornerstone of the Portsmouth community, is dedicated to supporting families throughout their parenting journey. Based at the Fratton Bridge Centre, they offer a range of crucial services, including Dadzclub, Young Mums' Club, and the Portsmouth Baby Bank. Local Portsmouth Restaurant Takes Home Top Prize Family-owned Natty's Jerk, located on Commercial Road, has emerged victorious at the Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Awards! The beloved eatery beat out 130 competitors across the UK to claim the coveted title, along with a significant £100,000 prize. Natty's Jerk impressed a distinguished judging panel that included renowned chef and broadcaster Andi Oliver. The restaurant's journey began in 2019 at pop-up events and local markets, showcasing their delicious offerings to the Portsmouth community. Founder Natty Crutchfield's dedication led to a successful crowdfunding campaign that secured over £20,000, ultimately allowing them to establish a permanent location opposite the Portsmouth and Southsea train station. This well-deserved win is a testament to Natty Crutchfield's vision, the culinary talent of his team, and their commitment to bringing authentic Caribbean flavours to Portsmouth.
