  • President Donald Trump has announced his plans to overturn the plastic straw ban, but what does this tell us? Interesting read by Santosh Nagasamy, CEO of Phitons Bioengineering Pvt Ltd who comments that if we fail to develop practical, sustainable replacements, we cannot be surprised when plastic makes a comeback. Santosh adds that the priority needs to be R&D investment and sustainability must be engineered at the material level, ensuring cost-effective and scalable alternatives.
