🥂We close the year together, even though we are far away 💻 If there's one thing we've learned as a remote team, it's that human connections don't need an office, but face-to-face meetings fill us with something unique. This end of the year, some of us gathered in Uruguay and Argentina to share a day of work 🤓 We talked about how we feel at the end of 2024, the challenges and learnings, and also what we dream of for 2025. We did this while working together and enjoying a simple but meaningful lunch 😋 These moments are a reminder that beyond the screens, we are a team that grows when you listen, support and take the time to be present. As I reflect on 2024, one word comes to mind: transformation—a journey filled with personal and professional challenges, growth, and moments that reminded us why we do what we do at LoopStudio. On a personal level, this year has been the best yet. My baby boy was born in January—what a wonderful way to start the year! My new pal, the “baby boss,” has brought so much joy and perspective to my life. Being a dad feels like starting a new job, a brand-new startup. You learn as he grows, and you grow with him. It’s a journey filled with discovery, lessons, and endless rewards. Professionally, this year also marked a pivotal moment for us. One of the most significant decisions we made in 2024 was to focus entirely on supporting cybersecurity companies with software development and design. It wasn’t an easy choice, but it felt like the right one. Looking back now, I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come.This shift taught us so much about ourselves as a team. We learned to adapt, listen more closely to our clients' needs, and embrace new challenges head-on. Every project we undertook this year pushed us to grow—not just as a company but as individuals. Additionally, stepping into my new role as VP of Markets at Cuti - Chamber of Uruguayan IT Companies has been an incredible new experience. It’s a unique opportunity to give back to an industry that has provided so much for me and countless others. Helping to shape the future of our market and contribute to its growth has been both humbling and rewarding. One standout moment for me this year was the in-person Loopcamps meeting with our team. Loopcamps represents so much more than just gathering in person—it’s the heart of our culture and the essence of what we do, how we do it, and, most importantly, why. It’s where people connect, ideas spark, and our shared mission comes alive. It reminded me how people, when truly aligned, can move mountains together. None of this would have been possible without the incredible people around us.
