Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies - Green University

On the 22nd of May, the "Become a part of nature" event was organized in connection with the Day of Biodiversity Preservation at our university. Within the framework of this event, the "Open Day" of the University was also held, where students visiting from schools were introduced to the building. During the event, the students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the conditions in the building and the international educational programs being conducted.

As the new academic year’s admission campaign begins, our team is dedicated to expanding our partnerships with Tashkent Schools through Outreach and CSR events. In just two weeks, we have successfully presented the university's mission and goals to over ten schools. We have also been able to address the questions and concerns of prospective students regarding admission processes, entrance exams, and the university's facilities. Shuningdek, bo'lajak talabalarning qabul jarayonlari, kirish imtihonlari va universitetning moddiy-texnik bazasiga oid savollariga to'laqonli javob berdik. Biz mahalliy hamjamiyat bilan aloqalarni mustahkamlash va talabalar uchun oliy ta'lim imkoniyatlarini ko'rib chiqishda qimmatli yordam ko'rsatishga doim intilamiz.

From April 16-19, "Aral Sea Tourism" week events are being held in the city of Nukus and the Moynaq region of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. On the first day of the event, the international scientific and practical conference "Ambassadors of Goodwill of the Aral Sea" took place, which was attended by various participants from the region and beyond.

Today, on the initiative of the Ministry of Ecology, Eco zakovat was established in connection with the celebration of "Ecological Knowledge Day". More than 10 various university teams located in Tashkent participated in the event. Among them, the honor of our university was defended by students under the name of "Green Genius". The debate was conducted in 2 stages, in which logical questions were asked on ecology, biology, chemistry, physics and history. Our students actively participated in the intellectual debate and awarded with a special gift and certificate. Bugun Toshkent shahri markazida joylashgan Eco Parkda Ekologiya vazirligi tomonidan "Ekologiyaga oid bilimlar kuni" ga bag'ishlanib, Eko zakovat tashkil etildi. Bahsda Toshkent shahridagi 10 dan ortiq universitetlar ishtirok etishdi va ular orasida bizning talabalarimiz "Green Genius" nomi ostida universitetimiz shanini himoya qilishdi. Munozara 2 bosqichda olib borilib, ekologiya, biological, kimyo, fizika va tarix fanlaridan savollar berildi. Intellektual bahsda talabalarimiz faol qatnashishib maxsus sovg'a va sertifikat bilan taqdirlanishdi.

Universitetimiz vitse-prezident Yingming Yang boshchiligidagi Osiyo taraqqiyot bankining (OTB) yuqori darajadagi delegatsiyasini qabul qilish sharafiga muyassar bo‘ldi. Ekologiya vazirining maslahatchisi ham tadbirda ishtirok etdi. Tashrifda quyidagilar qayd etildi: 🏫 Kampus bo'ylab sayohat va universitet faoliyatini yorituvchi taqdimot 🌳 VP Yangning iqtisodiy tendentsiyalar va yashil iqtisodiyotga o'tish haqidagi ma'ruzasi ✍️ Talabalar bilan savol-javob sessiyasi Universitet o’z an’anasini davom ettirgan holda, VP Yang kampus hududiga daraxt o‘tqazdi, bu esa OTBning Green University tanlagan ekologik sof yo'liga mos keladigan ekologik hamohanglikni anglatadi. Tashrif ko‘p tomonlama bank va universitet o‘rtasida mazmunli muloqot o‘tkazish imkonini berdi. Green University OTB delegatsiyasiga ilhomlantiruvchi tashrifi va global muammolar bo'yicha muloqotni rag'batlantirgani uchun o'z minnatdorligini bildiradi. *** Our University had the privilege of hosting a high-level delegation from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), led by Vice President Mr. Yingming Yang. The Minister of Ecology's advisor also graced the occasion. The visit featured: 🏫 Campus tour and presentation highlighting the university's activities 🌳 VP Yang's insightful speech on economic trends and green transition ✍️ Engaging Q&A session with students Continuing a proud tradition, VP Yang planted a tree on campus grounds - symbolizing ADB's environmental commitment aligning with Green University's eco-friendly focus. Feeling grateful to the ADB delegation for their inspiring presence on campus, promoting dialogue on global issues.

🌿 I had the honor of delivering a lecture on "𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: 𝐀 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲" to master's students at the prestigious Central Asian Green University #Uzbekistan This remarkable institution is the first university in Uzbekistan and Central Asia with a focus on environmental and economic studies, leading the way in sustainable education. During the lecture, we explored the nexus of technology and nature, discussing how artificial intelligence can be a force for good in our quest for environmental sustainability. We took a journey across cultures, examining innovative ways to integrate #AI technologies with natural processes to ensure that our technological advancements support the health of our planet. Additionally, I had the opportunity to introduce our latest collaborative endeavor – the AI Governance International Evaluation Index (#AGILE Index). This groundbreaking project, in partnership with The Center for Long-term Artificial Intelligence (CLAI) and the International Research Center for AI Ethics and Governance at the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, aims to steer AI development towards ethical and sustainable horizons. The AGILE Index represents a significant step forward in our commitment to ensuring that AI development is guided by principles of ethics and sustainability.
