Launch of the Nationwide Tree Planting Marathon as Part of the "Yashil Makon" Project! Building Sustainable Future Together| Uzbekinvest Insurance company 🌳 At Uzbekinvest, tree planting is a commitment to fostering greener communities. Our team planted more than 540 trees in Qibray district of Tashkent Region, inviting Ulugbek Rashitov, world’s best taekwondo athlete of 2024, two-time Olympic champion in WT taekwondo, to join us in this green initiative. By participating, our team not only contributed to Uzbekistan's greenery but also became integral parts of the larger "Yashil Makon" state project, aimed at improving air quality and environmental sustainability.

Yesterday, the “Pathway to Global Capital Markets: IPO and Eurobonds” trade mission of delegation of Uzbekistan to London, organized by the British Embassy in Tashkent and UK Department for Business and Trade, brought together leaders and experts to discuss strategies for #investment and #privatization. Hosted at Fieldfisher and LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), the day included: • Insights from Hudson Sandler, Fieldfisher and WOOD & Company on building investor confidence, stakeholder communication, and positioning state-owned enterprises • A focused IPO Workshop by LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), PwC, STJ Advisors and Embera Partners, supporting Uzbek companies on their journey to international markets The event ended with the iconic Market Close ceremony and a networking reception, underscoring the strong potential for #UKUzbekistan partnerships in finance and growth. 🥇 Ulugbek Rashitov is the first Uzbek taekwondist to win the title of two-time Olympic champion! By becoming the first Olympic champion in the history of Uzbek taekwondo, Ulugbek Rashitov also secures the title of the first Uzbek taekwondist to become a two-time winner at the Olympic Games. Our compatriot, who competed in the weight class up to 68 kg, won the gold medal, defeating Jordanian Zaid Kareem in the final with a score of 2:0. The number of awards on the account of the delegation of Uzbekistan at this point is 3 gold and 2 bronze.
