As the new Arabica coffee crop starts in the Northern province of Son La, ACOM VIETNAM is excited to announce the first deployment of Integrity, powered by BanQu Inc. with our partner Detech Coffee JSC. ECOM and Detech Coffee share the same vision toward achieving a more sustainable coffee production. Using the BanQu Inc. digital platform, coupled with ECOM Agroindustrial Corp. Ltd.'s internal deforestation monitoring tool, ECOM Research Deforestation Analysis (ERDA), transactions are now more efficiently linked to farmer data. Deploying Integrity, powered by BanQu helps improve supply chain transparency and readiness for the EUDR, supporting ECOM’s efforts to tackle climate change and promote sustainability in Vietnam’s coffee production. #DueDiligence #FirstMile #Growinginnovators #Traceability

We are extremely proud to have partnered with IDH FarmFit Fund last year, in the framework of a sustainable coffee supply chain project in Vietnam with the support of our SMS team. The program was built on the trusted relationship between IDH and ACOM VIETNAM, and has provided farmers with access to finance while diversifying their sources of income and becoming more climate resilient. Today Khang and I visited Loc Thanh Nursery School. Khang built this school in 2018 with funds from Costa Foundation and the help of ACOM VIETNAM. After five years of activities, it's still welcoming 160 children every year. Let's hope Khang can build a new school in 2024 as well. For now, he is giving biscuits to the kids and soon he will bring them Christmas gifts.

Last year, IDH Farmfit Fund provided a USD 1M loan to finance inputs and fertilisers to smallholder coffee farmers in ACOM’s supply chain. ACOM is a subsidiary of ECOM Agroindustrial Corporation Ltd (ECOM), a leading global commodity merchant and sustainable supply chain management company. The implementation of the input financing program is managed by Sustainability Management Services Vietnam Limited (SMS), with the mission to create sustainable value for rural communities.
