5. The White Hart, Pirbright
Opposite a beautiful green, The White Hart is a cosy village local with low beams and burning log-fires, offering freshly cooked pub-food. 7. The Pheasant at Buckland, Betchworth

10. Runnymede-on-Thames, Egham
The Lock Bar and Kitchen at the four-star hotel hosts a two-course 'Sunday Best' every week. All roasts are served with roast or new potatoes, carrots and greens. 11. The Drummond, Guildford

16. The Bull's Head, Reigate

20. The Old Wheatsheaf, Frimley
