“Grimball built an elevator shaft in our town house in downtown Charleston. Really nice work, all as quoted, and done on time. Came back as need when the elevator was installed and went over the quote and took off the charges for some work that did not need to be done. Were so dependable I gave them a house key and alarm codes. They helped find the right finishes and completed the inside of the elevator compartment for us when we were out of town. Just a pleasure to work with. I have recommended them to friends.”

“Todd provided valuable information during the design portion that helped maintain our budget and a quality project. His knowledge of the local market and environment was useful as we attempted to complete this long-distance endeavor. Once financing was secured, Todd worked tirelessly with us to insure that our budget was maintained, that we received the highest quality product within that budget and that he was always able to "point us in the right direction" concerning the sub-contractors and suppliers of our project. During this time, I have observed Todd work and interact with various sub-contractors and engineers as the building is advancing. At all times he has acted in a most professional and cooperative manner. He has kept us informed as to the progress being made and has been timely about needed decisions for which he has always given us ample time. His organization and attention to detail has provided us with a level of comfort that has made the process most pleasurable. “Robert Maixner was the designer and architect of my home built in 2003 -2004 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. My home is the pride of my community being a southwestern contemporary design. Robert was creative and incorporated the natural setting of my home as it sits high up in the foothills. He listened to my desires for maximizing passive solar properties and for creating unique features such as built in shelving nooks, lighting, high ceilings, a courtyard, and many other characteristics which make it truly a custom home. Now, as my family has grown, he is currently adding a 300 ft2 study with a spiral staircase leading to a viewing deck for an unobstructed 360 degree view of the mountains and city. I can't imagine working with any other architect , he is a real professional.”

“I love working with Cava! She has a client/project calendar and schedule that is updated regularly which keeps the client and designer abreast of what is happening and when. For this and many reasons, i feel she is very organized and thorough. It is very uncommon for contractors to be organized today because of juggling multiple jobs whilst also dealing with subs that may or may not follow through. I was so impressed that after various material installations, she looked for the errors and flaws on the clients behalf and personally met with client and subcontractor to see that repairs were made. I would definitely recommend Cava Custom Build!”

In his quiet, confident manner Brian took over assuming responsibility for every detail and always on call for consultation. The planning stage took a year with everything from an as built drawing to the final plan and all that takes place in between. In the end, Brian Felder provided us with a restored home that is a gem in Bluffton. Painstaking planned, our home, The Pine House, is a model for what can be accomplished with an experienced Architect grounded in planning with the owner’s best interest at heart. Joan Heyward”

“HHI Builders continually went above and beyond to ensure that the total renovation of our Villa was perfect! As we live four hours from our beautiful vacation Villa, Steve sent updated pictures on a regular basis to show us the progress of construction. We were in regular, almost daily, communication with Steve via phone calls and email. He kept us apprised of every detail of the renovation. The estimate for the renovation was accurate and when I made changes along the way, Steve provided the updated price in a timely manner. He offered suggestions for modifications to my original design which were great improvements to the renovation. His knowledge and expertise are remarkable and he was able to guide me through the renovation process, always with kindness and patience! In addition, those that work for him are experts in their craft and took great care in the renovation. All were polite, and worked diligently to complete our Villa to like-new condition! I highly recommend St”
