Their designer Bar was a big help in getting the renderings done and helping us with shopping the materials. The crew worked regularly Monday through Friday and always cleaned up at the end of the days work. The inspections were handled by Sam our project manager and we had no issues passing them. In a matter of a few hours she overcame design problems we had been struggling with for months, then went on to polish the design into a stand-out plan that has been a joy to live in. This was a complete home remodel. We expanded the master bath, added a new bath, moved and expanded the kitchen, expanded the living room, and added a studio. The end result took advantage of our 180-degree view (which the original design didn't) and cost far less than selling and moving into a comparable property with a similar view, if we had been able to find one.”

“I highly recommend the California Building and Remodeling Company. We are VERY happy with their work all the way. I feel fortunate to have met Philip Geunther, the owner and founder of the company. He is quite skilled with people, and with coordinating teams of workers on a project. The contract was a reasonable price, in fact very inexpensive because he came often to check on the work and improved the work when needed by discussing the plan several times with his team to give us the maximum best result. I will call Phil in the future for other jobs with no hesitation because this has been an outstanding experience for my family. What did they do for us? My mother is close to age 95 and had a stroke, and is wheelchair bound. Phil and his team remodeled our old bathroom into a larger shower that is designed for wheelchairs. The shower is a "roll-in" shower compliant with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. We are so happy!! Thank you Phil. I recommend their work for any ADA project. They know what they are doing.”
