I belive SWOT and market analysis are critical for making informed strategic decisions. SWOT analysis provides a framework for evaluating a company’s position within its environment, while market analysis offers a deep dive into the external market conditions and potentials. Together, they equip businesses with the insights needed to navigate challenges, leverage opportunities, and refine their strategies for sustainable growth.

What I found helpful in this area (market analysis) is taking surveys, What is important for the customer is Quality, Time and Price. Therefore it could help us with analyzing our target market and competitors. We need to find the gap we can fill in the market.

First thing to do is to be sure that you previously know and have experienced the business and market you are planning to jump into. Never try anything you do not have experienced before, not necessarily as entrepreneur, but as employee, for instance. Business plan, SWOT analysis and surveys are good tools to suggest that you should not start it. On the other hand, entrepreneuship is a unique experience you have to live to know if it will work. If business plan really works, most of businesses would not fail.

After creating financial projections for thousands of companies over two decades, I can confidently say that the best starting point is figuring out your unit costs. Truly understanding your unit costs in scientific detail will provide valuable insights and help you avoid getting distracted by guesswork. Once you have a firm grasp on your unit costs, the rest becomes relatively straightforward: determine your fixed costs on a monthly and yearly basis, assess whether your target market can bear the prices you need to charge, and calculate your startup costs. However, if you don't take the time to thoroughly analyze every single detailed input of your unit costs, your financial projections will be rendered useless.

Now, combine all these into a financial plan, you have the income (revenue), assets (resources), expenses, runway and finally, a financial model

Your organizational structure should be driven by the key activities, resources, and partners outlined in your business model. The best approach is to develop an org structure for your dream company, determining each position needed to deliver on all the components that support your value propositions. Then, examine the roles these individuals would need to fulfill and start streamlining, identifying opportunities for one person to cover multiple roles, as you'll need to be lean in the beginning. Startups are a riskier proposition for employees, often requiring you to pay more. If you can't realistically accomplish everything necessary to deliver value, don't start the company, as you'll be a dead-business-walking from day one.

It encompasses the daily activities, processes, and systems that enable you to deliver value to your customers consistently and efficiently. Without a well-crafted operations plan, even the most brilliant strategies and innovative products can fail. To create an effective operations plan, start by mapping out your critical processes, identifying potential bottlenecks, and developing contingency plans for unexpected challenges. Continuously monitor and optimize your operations to ensure that you're maximizing efficiency and minimizing waste.

In case of writing BP for foreign investments; The economical and political situation in the country and understanding the rules and regulations for investment is very important to analyze the risks.
